Grand inauguration of
Wi-Fi Networking project established in CMS Kanpur Road



Lucknow, July 6: City Montessori School, Lucknow has established the latest Wireless Networking Technology 'Wi-Fi' at its Kanpur Road Campus to provide latest technique and world class education to its students, which got inaugurated today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium in a grand manner. Chief Guest, Mr Hari Om Upadhyay, Minister of State, Homeguards, UP, lighted the lamp and formally inaugurated the function. On the occasion, a large gathering of parents, teachers and students appraised the efforts of CMS to make latest technique of education available to the children. Now, after the installation of Wireless Networking Technology 'Wi-Fi' at CMS Kanpur Road campus the students would be able to access latest information in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Geography, Hindi and other subjects anywhere in the school campus which will empower them to become more innovative and intelligent, side by side the students and teachers will be able to exchange latest informations and techniques at high speed.

Addressing the gathering of students, teachers and parents, the Chief Guest,  Mr Hari Om Upadhyay said that this is an age of revolution through computer technology and the internet, computer website, multimedia and cyber space are highly significant in imparting education. Modern technology has reduced distances between people and countries and paved the way for World Unity. He said that the need of the hour is to use science to unite mankind and this task is ably undertaken by the world renowned City Montessori School, Lucknow. Expressing his happiness, Mr Upadhyay said that City Montessori School is totally dedicated to bringing about the all round development of students and adding new milestones in the history of education. This institution is not only imparting high quality education to students but also encouraging feelings of brotherhood, World Unity, World Peace and Oneness of Mankind in the tender hearts of children . After the inaugural ceremony, a press conference was organized to give information about imparting quality education through the medium of modern educational technology. The press conference was addressed by the CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Principal of CMS Kanpur Road campus Dr (Mrs) Vineeta Kamran.

Addressing media persons at the press conference, the Principal of CMS Kanpur Road, Dr (Mrs) Vineeta Kamran informed that Wi-Fi project will connect the Primary, Junior and Senior all the sections by Wireless Networking Technology. Through this modern technology, students will be able to get knowledge through database, prepare files, documents, spreadsheets etc. from anywhere in the campus. The students will be able to use internet while sitting in their class without any wire and the teachers will be able to comfortably teach with latest techniques without wire. She informed that for this project, CMS has installed latest high technology multimedia computers through which knowledge of various subjects will be imparted to the students.

Addressing the press conference, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Shri Jagdish Gandhi said that it is our effort to impart not only textual knowledge to students but also to equip them with moral and value-based spiritual education. With this, we are also making the students aware of current global problems, peaceful solutions to these problems , team-spirit, encouraging creative talents and giving them a global outlook. Today, new inventions and discoveries are being made in the world so that the whole earth has become a global village. The new methods of communication like internet, email etc can connect the world in seconds with the latest kind of information. But the progress in science and technology is useful only if it benefits the whole of mankind. In this situation, the importance of new technology can hardly be stressed.

Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed that a 'Computer Fair' has also been organized on the occasion of inauguration of this modern technical set up for the students, parents and children in which sophisticated computers will be exhibited. Mr Sharma said that CMS is determined to improve the technical capability of its students thereby making them a conscious citizen of nation, society and the world. He said that CMS Kanpur Road campus has been awarded with 'Computer Literacy Excellency Award' twice.
