Lucknow, 5 July : No religion of the
world supports homosexual behaviour and the
leaders of all faith have termed it as
unnatural. The Hon'ble High Court of Delhi's
recent judgement of legalizing homosexuality
despite this opposition is like a serious blow
on youth and society and therefore, is
absolutely unacceptable. These views were
unanimously expressed by the leaders of various
religious faiths at CMS Gomti Nagar auditorium
today. These leaders of various religions viz
Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Parsi, Jain, Boudha,
Baha'i, Christian etc. had assembled here to
take part in a special discussion organized by
City Montessori School to put forth their views
on the Delhi High Court's judgement of
legalizing homosexual behaviour. Unanimously
criticizing the Delhi High Court's judgement,
the leaders of all religions faiths urged the
Supreme Court of India, Central Government and
all state governments to intervene and review
this judgement so as to prevent the youth from
being carried away and the entire social set up
being broken up.
Various religious leaders present on the
occasion were Maulana Khalid Rashid, Maulana

culture and finish the generations.
Maulana Kafil Ashraf said that CMS not
only provides high level education but it also
raises its voice against soical happenings. he
said that the God has made woman for man,
she-pigeon for he-pigeon and she-monkey for
he-monkey. The judgemnet given by Delhi High
Court is against the law of nature. No religion
permits to marry a man to man and a woman to
woman. I strongly oppose this verdict on behalf
of the citizens of India. Maulana
Sayydur Rahman Azmi, Principal, Nadwa College
said that the Founder of CMS Dr Jagdish Gandhi simplified our work by expressing his
disagreement over this law. He strongly admitted
that the judgement of Delhi High Court is not
acceptable to either humanity or culture or
religion. Spokesperson of All India Shia
Personal Law Board Maulana Yasoob Abbas said
that homosexuality is a deformity of
mind and heart, which can never be accepted or
justified. Maulana Abbas Irshad Naqvi said that
homosexual relations will crush all the
relations that we own. Catholic Bishop
of Lucknow Father Gerald J. Mathias said that
God created Adam and Eve to create the world and
the decision of court will end both the humans
and humanity.
Follower of Baha'i faith, Renowned
educationist and Founder of City Montessori
School, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, who was also
present at the press conference said that the
first knowledge that God send in the form of
Bhagwat Geeta talks about a society based upon
justice. Where there is justice, there is Godly
society and where there is injustice, there is
ungodly civilization. He said that all laws
should be enacted and interpreted keeping in
mind the exigencies of the age because a law
which overlooks the demands of the age can never
be in the favour of the humanity. Dr Gandhi said
that this judgement of High Court of Delhi on
homosexuality is being criticized by everyone
and all people of all sects are terming it as
unfortunate.

Om Sharma said this judgement can become a cause
of break down for society and families. Keeping
